Yesterday we released our latest episode of the Online Education Across the Atlantic podcast, honoring the Chairman of the Board.

It was interesting timing, with two news items on internal OPM initiatives that I’d like to describe.

UF Online Loses a Leader

It turns out that Paul LeBlanc from Southern New Hampshire University was not the only online learning leader to resign last week. Evangeline (Evie) Cummings announced her resignation from the University of Florida Online (UF Online), effective today.

Evie is the source of one my worst calls in market analysis. After UF Online was announced, I noted that this OPM (Pearson) aligned initiative had entirely unrealistic expectations, partially driven by a Parthenon (now EY) report. In that same post I noted:
